Have you ever heard of resilience, right? The concept of resilience comes in handy to tell you about PLANB JOYERÍA.

One of the many definitions that you will find in the networks says that resilience is the human ability to overcome barriers and the ability of a material to withstand extreme forces without deforming.

There are definitions of resilience for all tastes and from all contexts, environmental resilience, resilience from psychological and community contexts, resilience from physical (where the term comes from) but I have never read anything about the resilience of crafts . And I want to talk to you about this, dear readers.

I am going to summarize a lot my way of understanding ARTISAN RESILIENCE.

Reinventing oneself does not mean being invulnerable to adversity, specifically in the world of crafts subjected not only to competition from “wholesale” markets but also to small actions and forces that inform us directly: the lack of spaces to expose our creations, inclement weather as we often work in small street stalls, tax payments that as good freelancers lead us to abuse, aid that sometimes does not reach the group of "non-cybernetic" artisans and a myriad of elements that hinder our daily work.

Recognizing these difficulties makes us strong, necessarily makes us more imaginative. It makes us develop our ARTISAN RESILIENCE.

At PLANB JOYERÍA we want to thank all the people who improve every day so that adversities turn into opportunities.
